3128 hours of pro-bono Salesforce support… and counting!

Last week we celebrated our team of Supermum volunteers who have delivered over 3000 hours of pro-bono support on charity projects!

Heather shared her story with 5000 people at Salesforce World Tour about how she runs a successful Salesforce Consultancy and how she launched Salesforce Supermums to help train and support mums into well-paid flexible roles within the Salesforce eco-system.

As part of the programme, our Supermums provide 48 free hours of Salesforce support to small charities – enabling charities to benefit from the power of Salesforce at up to half the cost!

As a Social Entrepreneur, Heather has always had a passion for business with a purpose. She founded our Company CIC in 2012 to provide Salesforce consultancy services to non-profits, and in 2016 as part of her social enterprise model she launched a training programme to support mums looking for flexible well-paid work. Since then her team has supported over 200 non-profits with 400 projects, and over 75 of these charities has benefited from 3128 hours of pro-bono volunteer support.

How does it work?

Our consultancy team provides Salesforce implementations to charities and provides work experience to over 15 trainees at any one point in time. The trainees deliver 48 hrs of volunteer time on small charity projects and to date our trainees have completed over 3000 hours of pro-bono support for charities. The trainees work under the management of our professional Salesforce consultants to build out the solution.

This great arrangement helps the charity’s funds go further to maximise the benefits of the Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, whilst it gives our trainees important work experience to secure their next job role.

Over 85% of our graduating trainees are securing jobs within 3 months, and to date we have 115 trainees signed up from over 5 countries. The mums are loving the experience and enjoy becoming part of a supportive Salesforce community.

We have to date supported 75 charities with Supermums and they are on the look-out for more small charities who could benefit from a Salesforce Implementation package of professional consultancy support which includes pro-bono hours by our trainees.
