Monday 11th to Friday 15th May 2015 University of Greenwich, London
Purpose and Mission
Our mission is to offer diverse, exciting and accessible learning experiences for social change, to all people from all communities and we plan to work with local organisations to deliver and host these events.
Hosted By:
The Network for Social Enterprise in Education & Health (SEEH Network) and the University of Greenwich
” On 11th May 2015 we will open our doors to the general public to celebrate and participate with students in the very first Social Enterprise Festival (#SEFestival2015) to be held at the University of Greenwich!
Seventeen activities have been organised for this week which will give students and the public, diverse opportunities to learn about social change and social enterprise, to seek advice from experts, to debate, co-create, build and progress ideas and social ventures that could benefit communities and possibly even change the world!
This year, activities include challenge events (with chances to win prizes!), seminars, workshops, discussions, a networking event, mentoring surgeries and a big social enterprise debate at the end the week. All activities are completely free to attend – plus you can participate in as many as you like! However places are limited and if you wish to attend, you will need to book in advance.
The Festival is a chance to connect with and engage in meaningful discussions with people concerned with social change and helping society; to develop new knowledge and skills and to be inspired to start or progress something amazing that changes lives and leads to a fulfilling career. So what are you waiting for? Go and book some activities and we look forward to seeing you in May! ”
