Last week we celebrated our team of Supermum volunteers who have delivered over 3000 hours of pro-bono support on charity projects.
Heather Black, Managing Director of our Company and CEO of Supermums was awarded a rare Golden Hoodie last week by the Salesforce Team during her Keynote Speech at Salesforce World Tour, in recognition of her trailblazing activities empowering individuals and charities with Salesforce.
As a Social Entrepreneur she has always had a passion do business with a purpose.
She shared her story infront of 5000 people at Salesforce World Tour about how she runs a successful Salesforce Consultancy and how she launched Supermums to help train and support mums into well-paid flexible roles within the salesforce eco-system.
Through her social enterprise business model, the consultancy provides Salesforce implementations to charities and provides work experience to over 15 trainees at any one point in time. The trainees deliver 48 hrs of volunteer time on small charity projects and to date our trainees have completed over 3000 hours of pro-bono support for charities. The trainees work under the management of our professional salesforce consultants to build out the solution.
This great arrangement helps the charity’s funds go further to maximise the benefits of the Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, whilst it gives our trainees important work experience to secure their next job role.
Over 85% of our graduating trainees are securing jobs within 3 months, and to date we have 115 trainees signed up from over 5 countries. The mums are loving the experience and enjoy becoming part of a supportive Salesforce community.
We have to date supported 75 charities with supermums and we are on the look-out for more small charities who could benefit from a Salesforce Implementation package of professional consultancy support which includes pro-bono hours by our trainees.
