Every Family Matters have recently been given the opportunity to deliver their Parent Champion programme working with the Troubled Families Team at Maidstone Borough Council.
The Parent Champion programme empowers parents to take responsibility to change their lives and relationships with their children and partners.
The programme is evidence-based and uses advanced coaching and emotional literacy techniques, underpinned by neuroscience, to create a profound change of mindset.
It has been proven in ‘dysfunctional’ families from deprived areas in a 2 year project and evaluated by Canterbury Christ Church University.
Proven Outcomes
- 67% identified a significant increase in self-worth/confidence
- 36% progressed into education, employment or training
- 21% of the families (direct) involvement with the Parent Champion course had ‘stepped down’ from child protection and child-care orders to child in need or CAFs with significant savings and social impact achieved.
- 100% or everyone reported significant changes in their lives through trusting their instincts/gut feelings/intuition
Our company have worked with Every Family Matters since 2012 in the areas of measuring impact, Salesforce CRM system development and developing their business strategy.
They have secured 50% of our consultancy fees with the Growth Voucher Scheme.
Recently we supported the EFM and Maidstone Borough Council partnership to submit an application to Our Place to develop the community-led Parent Champion programme in Maidstone.
‘I’ve used our Company for a variety of projects where I’ve needed innovative thinking, sound strategising and evaluation. Particularly tailoring our Salesforce.com account to provide the outcomes and measuring social impact for our charity. They have also provided business strategy and fundraising applications for our social enterprise. I’ve found Heather to be the ultimate professional, insightful and incisive and a pleasure to work with.’ Alan Wilson, Every Family Matters/Develop Your Child CIC
