Charities Supporting Those in Need During Covid-19


It’s fantastic to see the work of our charitable clients from local to national / small to large support causes related to Covid-19. Charities traditionally have been set up to plug a gap in service provision.

Charities like to challenge adversity – they identify a need by innovating and creating a service to meet demand. They will then go about finding resources to make it successful whatever the weather. We want to showcase some of the great work are clients are doing in their communities right now to help charities sustain and deliver services to those in need.

London Funders

London Funders have brought together their members to create an emergency fund for community and voluntary organisations to help sustain and growth their grow their capacity at this time. Find out more here

Made in Hackney

In response to the COVID19 emergency Made In Hackney has paused its community cookery classes to launch a temporary direct to door, free meal delivery service for our communities most vulnerable members.They launched a crowdfunding campaign to launch this service which has nearly met it’s target. The Care Workers Charity

The Care Workers’ Charity Covid-19 Grant Fund aims to provide emergency funding for currently employed care workers who must take time off work due to Covid-19 for either illness or self-isolation or for funeral costs.Find out more here

Mental Health UK

Mental Health UK have launched guidance on supporting mental health within your community, workplace and family during Covid-19. Find information and tips for managing your mental health during the coronavirus outbreak. Whether you’re social distancing or self-isolating you may be feeling anxious or stressed during this time, and that’s completely normal. There are simple steps you can take to look after your mental health and wellbeing. Find out more here
