Hastings into Work Partnership
By Heather Black our Company focusses on stimulating economic change within organisations and places.
We are currently working in Hastings to stimulate economic regeneration, through bringing together a collaborative multi-sector partnership to tackle unemployment.
We are leading this initiative with Hastings Works, a locally based social enterprise that acts as a hub to co-ordinate IAG support for the unemployed.
With support from Our Place funding, we are working with local members of the community from residents, public sector, business and social enterprises to co-design high quality cost effective solutions.
We aim to realise these solutions through influencing public spend and adopting a social enterprise model of multiple revenue streams to ensure sustainability.
The development of the Hastings into Work Partnership model aims to sustain and capacity build the new and existing delivery organisations to realise this provision.
